It doesn't seem possible that we have completed our final summer conference for 2009 at Huntington! What a meeting it was! The attendance was the largest yet and I felt the power of God's Word released from the pulpit into the very depth of the listener's hearts. We have several "regional conferences" remaining from September to November, including Williamsport Maryland, Elkins West Virginia, Pulaski Virginia, Saint Louis, Maumee Ohio, Cartersville, Georgia and one more MAIN EVENT in Hixson, Tennessee!

            I believe it would be well worth your time and effort to make plans to attend this great conference in October. Lord willing my dad, Walter Hallum, Jason Crab, Tommy Bates, and a host of anointed singers and special luncheon speakers are scheduled to come! The meeting begins on Tuesday night October 20^th and continues through Saturday afternoon at 4:30. A total of 9 services and 4 luncheons will take place!  You will enjoy the beautiful Abba's House facility and the fellowship of thousands of God's choice servants and saints! Remember the Saturday evening service begins at 4:30 to allow for the 7:30 Partner's Banquet.

The "Change Challenge"

            At the 2009 Partner's Conference we initiated a special "change challenge" that extends through the Day of Atonement (September 27-28). The partner that collects and gives the most in the change challenge will receive one of my choice personal preaching Bibles including all notes.  I have never, and I mean never given away a preaching Bible because they are like a chest of gold to me personally.  If you are a partner of the change challenge, then remember to deposit the change and send a check with the words "change challenge."  The winner will be honored at the Hixson Meeting and if they cannot attend I will personally send the Bible to them. Your check must be in the office before the end of September! 

            The vision for future ministry that the Lord has given me will require a greater amount of income in order to complete these main assignments. I will be sharing more about this soon.  I am preparing to announce a special "Family Thanksgiving Offering" and a very unique appreciation gift that we will give to the family (mom, dad and children) that raise the most for this VOE vision.  I will be revealing the plan at Hixson, in the VOE and over the Internet.

The Season is here

            The month of September in 2009 is the main month for the Days of Awe, known as Feast of Trumpets (September 19) and the Day of Atonement (September 28) which both occur in September. This is the special season recognized by our Hebrew brethren as a time of soul searching, repenting, and reflecting on the past year in order to pray for the coming 12 months (the civil calendar for the Jews begins on Rosh Hashanah). The belief is there is a special gate of heaven opened from Trumpets (September 19) through Atonement (September 28). God makes His decision for the coming year during this time.

            This is also the season we have felt impressed to request those who love and appreciate the ministry to plant a special fall feast offering (Days of Awe) into the VOE ministry that can be used to assist in maintaining Manna-Fest air time for the coming year. Most of the larger stations contracts come due from September through December each year. We are speaking here of millions of dollars and no small amount.

            I want to remain on all of the stations and not cut back. I have recently heard that many national ministries are beginning cut backs on their programming to cut expense. However, we need to move forward and not back, especially with the messages the Lord has given to us in this season.  Would you agree?

My Olive Tree

            With the assistance of Rabbi Curt Landry, we are providing individuals with the opportunity to adopt an olive tree in a large grove located near the Jordan River and the Sea of Galilee, right where Christ ministered! You will receive a certificate, and your tree will be marked with a tag, identifying it as your tree. Here is the most unique part.

            With the assistance of the Rabbi we are going to harvest the olives and produce the "King's Oil," using the formula that is found in the book of Exodus. We believe that this oil will be used around the world to anoint men and women. The special formula will actually have precious and holy fragrances crushed into the oil itself. There is a cost to prepare, bottle and harvest the oil, however, we will make it available through the ministry. Pam and I are going to adopt 4 trees for our family and another 2 for mom and dad. These trees will live for hundreds of years and there are people assigned to care for the entire grove.

            Among the Jewish people a tree is representative of life and an olive tree represents the generations of a family. The olive tree is significant as the tree represents national Israel (Rom. 11).  It also represents the Gentiles who were grafted into the New Covenant (Rom. 11). I hope many of you will adopt a tree in your name or the name of a loved one.

Bill Cloud and I on Manna-Fest

            In September Bill Cloud will be joining me for a special four week series on Manna-Fest.  We have put together a special teaching (CD) album just for this program.  Please be watching this very important series in which we will deal with the United States and new prophetic patterns.

Angels on Assignment

            One of the most interesting covenants in the Bible is a covenant forged for protection when two people are apart, called the Mizpah Covenant. I have been working on a special book titled Angels on Assignment that will be released the first week of October. Our world is a dangerous place in which to live and we need confidence in God's supernatural protection through His heavenly messengers.  Be looking for the public release of this new book!

Breaking the Jewish Code - In top 50 books

            Imagine our surprise when we discovered that Breaking the Jewish Code has been in the top 50 books for 3 straight months in the Christian book market and secular stores! For some time it remained in the top 25 books on Amazon. Why is this important? Numerous individuals purchasing the book through the stores were not familiar with our ministry and became acquainted after reading the book.  Thus we are reaching a new group of men and women, especially through the secular stores. If you have not purchased a copy of this very informative book, then I encourage you to order on line or at your local book store this week!

Dad- an Update

            Many of you have asked about dad. Dad has always been a strong man as long as I can remember. However the past two years have been difficult. He is presently taking dialysis three times a week. He is doing well but is quite weak physically. We are all agreeing that dad will be strong and can attend at least the Wednesday morning service at Hixson.  He told me this may be the last time he will be able to publically speak at a large meeting. This is very sad to me personally and of course to the many partners and friends who love him. We all know that the set time of dad's departure will arrive as the sands in God's hour clock drop the last grain of time. However, as dad has said, "I believe my departure will be glorious and I am rather anticipating the event when it comes." Please agree with us that he will be strengthened to minister. He has never missed speaking at a Camp Meeting since 1988 to the present!
