The Dream of the Red and Blue Fish

Since 1992, each election year, I have received a direct revelation on either who would be elected or a specific pattern linked to the person who was elected as the President of the United States.  This is the first year that I have not received any specific revelation or direct insight on what would occur or the end result.  As many of you know, I shared two possible patterns in the CD teaching, “Two Men with an Agenda,” but made no predictions concerning the outcome.

                However, it was only a few days ago that one of our youth came to me and said, “I think I may have had a spiritual dream but I am not certain.” She proceeded to say that in the dream she saw a very large lake with two large fish; one was red and one was blue.  Suddenly the red fish jumped up above the blue fish and swallowed the blue fish. My thoughts flew to the parable of the net and the fish in Matthew 13:47-49;

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every   kind: which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.”

                My mind also went back to a dream that I had in 1981, in which I was standing and fishing at a large lake of water.  Suddenly I caught the largest fish I had ever seen.  I began reeling it in, when suddenly it became a serpent and bit me on the feet. I picked up the snake and hurled it back into the lake. There it turned back into a fish.  This dream later occurred. The interpretation was the lake was a large church and the single fish represented the great spiritual results from an extended 5 week revival. At the conclusion of the revival, the adversary initiated an attack that affected my ministry for a short time. However, I later returned to the same church (“lake”) and gathered in through the “net” of the Gospel, another harvest of souls, as any minister is a “fisher of men” (Matt. 4:19).

                Now back to the dream of the two fish.  In an election cycle, the opposing parties, the Democrats and the Republicans are marked by “red states and blue states.” In this year’s election, the red states are designated for the Republican candidate and the blue states for the Democratic candidate.  If and I do say, “IF” this dream is related to the election, then the huge lake is the United States and the two fish are the two men running for president.  If the red suddenly rises up and devours the blue, then I will leave the interpretation up to you.  If it has nothing to do with the election then quite possibly it is a warning of certain states that will experience great distress in the future.

                I told the young woman this may be the interpretation, but if it is not then there is another meaning that we will need to search out and pray about.  Just as we see with Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar, both men who were unable to interpret their own dreams, at times a dream can have a deeper or symbolic meaning, especially if it is prophetic.  I am also reminded that, in the last days “sons and daughters,” and “servants and handmaidens” will receive the Holy Spirit. This outpouring is always accompanied by dreams and visions.  If you dream an unusual dream, write down the details in a journal and keep an accurate record as dreaming will be one method God will use to reveal future events.
