GONE FISHING

Guest Article by Jason Armstrong

openbible

"After these things, Jesus manifested Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and He manifested Himself in this way.  "Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, 'I am going fishing.' They said to him, 'We will also come with you.' They went out and got into the boat; and that night they caught nothing.  "But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. So Jesus said to them, 'Children, you do not have any fish, do you?' They answered Him, 'No.' and He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat, and you will find a catch.' So they cast, and then, they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish. Therefore, that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord.' So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put his outer garment on (for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea. But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away, dragging the net full of fish.

Message for Partners from Perry

biblestudystackNormally, I would post this message on the Partners site; however, I have elected to post in on the main site because I want to make sure all of our partners read this information.  My ministry partners are aware of how we operate the ministry with certain “dos and don’ts.” For example, we do have a message of the month club available. We do host an annual Partner Conference and also have a special partner web site accessible only to the partners of the ministry. We do not send out letters asking for money and do not sell the names of anyone on our mailing list to mail order organizations. We do not use any money from the book and media sales on television, the magazine sales or the resource table sales for personal purposes (such as a royalty), but use all the income for the ministry.

There is Still Time to Cut Out the Counterfeits by Mark Casto

iStock 000011068815XSmallThe year 2012 has been a year of apostolic alignment and prophetic fulfillment. Many have transitioned to different locations, jobs, ministries, and relationships because of God’s call. However, in the midst of all the transitions, some made decisions hastily without submitting them to the Lordship of Christ, and it caused confusion and hindrances to interrupt the favor and blessings of God upon your life.

Never Lose Sight of the Main Thing

iStock 000001070916XSmallIn the position I have been blessed to be in, our ministry reaches into 180 nations of the world each week, and in this mix of nations are individuals watching from every known religion in the world.  As I begin to teach the word, I seldom have a challenge from outside of the U.S. as the viewer’s simply watch with their Bible in their hand (if they are believers) and follow me word for word.  Often I or the network stations receive a response of a soul saved, a person healed, a family restored, or a great, uplifting testimony.  However, any message may bring out peculiar types of people in America – all with their own opinions and interpretations, all intending to counter my teaching and “expose me as a heretic” and “prove me wrong.”

Why Mitt Romney Lost

Mitt-Romney-241055-3-402Now that the 2012 election has been determined, we have received numerous inquiries as to why I believe that Mitt Romney lost the election.  This question has been posed by the talking heads of all the major network news shows and continues to be discussed, and will be for some time.  The controversy of the loss stems from the predictions and the projections of noted Republican strategist, who publically stated that Romney would win in a landslide, which was the opposite of what actually occurred.
