We Can't Express it in Words

gift500We are so grateful for the many men and women who have become ministry partners. I cannot count the number of times someone has expressed, “You all have the best partners in the world!”  It is one thing for Pam and me to comment that our partners are the best; but when it comes from a new partner or someone from outside the “inner circle,” then Pam and I are so blessed to have such friends, especially partners of the ministry.  We know that none of us are perfect and if you look close enough you will see flaws and imperfections, but despite human frailties we believe our friends are some of the best.

I cannot count the number of times someone has expressed, “You all have the best partners in the world!”

This was very evident when we recently requested for your special offerings to be targeted for our new OCI facility.  In my twelve years on television, I have never taken the time to tape an entire program on the ministry vision and ask for your help.  Many who responded told our secretaries, “In all of the many years I have known Perry, he has never made asking for help an issue, so we want to stand with him now!”  We were totally amazed, and yes, somewhat stunned, at the response, especially from me and women who had never before supported the ministry in any form.  Each day I receive a report reflecting these supporters. I keep these reports on my desk in my private office.  I am asking the Lord to return your giving in both financial and spiritual areas.  When you are giving an offering to assist a minister in helping others, I believe in turn the Lord will send others into your life to be a help to your family.

I want to say “thank you” to each of you, and remind you that no offering is too small or too large. It is recognized and appreciated, as the gift is from your heart.  If you have not responded, please consider what you can do and remember that your continual prayers and support are certainly needed and very much appreciated!

Sincerely,
